INFORMATION REGARDING TRANSFER TO LONDON SOUTH EAST ACADEMIES TRUST
The government’s ambition for all schools to be part of a large Multi Academy Trust by 2030 is intended to provide enhanced and extended opportunities for pupils’ learning, development of staff and to secure financial sustainability.
In order to sustain Ignis’ high-quality provision and ensure our schools remain financially secure, Trustees made the strategic decision to proactively seek out a strong, financially secure Multi Academy Trust that best suits our own vision, values, aspirations and ethos and enables the schools to retain their individual culture, ethos and unique character.
Consequently, the transfer of all three Ignis schools is expected to take place prior to the 2024-2025 academic year. The transfer will ensure we can continue to provide a high-quality education for all our pupils, now and in the future, while maintaining our schools’ unique identities.
